“ Pretty good food, they are identical to Carnitas el Brother in Port Hueneme. However, chips are not complimentary like at Carnitas El Brother. Pozole Verde is very delicious!! Horchata is great! Flautas are delish!! Carnitas are yummy. I thought $4.99 for chips and salsa (just a spicy salsa roja) was excessive. Especially when their sister location… err Brother location in Hueneme offers them for free. ”

“ Easily one of the BEST taco spots in Ventura County. And that's says a lot considering how many amazing taco spots there are out here. They make their corn tortillas fresh and put so much more meat in your taco than your average taqueria. I ordered the puffy taco (deep fried handmade tortilla, carnitas, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, crema, and salsa), quesabirria taco, and a carne asade taco. All of them were 10/10. The tacos here remind me of the tacos you get in Mexico, very authentic. The puffy taco was definitely the star of the show. It's sooo crispy and airy, it's different from dorado tacos. My whole family was in love it, we can't wait to go back for more. The service here is outstanding! My family and I were greeted with smiles. The staff is so friendly, shout out to Brenda, she is so kind and humble. Very helpful and patient with me as I asked a million questions about all their different tacos lol. My only critique is that the menu above the registers were a little confusing because they don't include the prices and the hand held menus look different (although the hand held menus do include the prices). I can't wait to come back, I want to try everything off the menu. ”

“ I had the two by two taco platter and it was really good. The carnitas are delicious and the Cheeto tacos were good, the Chile verde tacos were amazing, my least favorite were the other tacos…I don’t know what they are called. Tacos are huge so you’ll fill up easily. ”
